Contractors & VendorsThe Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Program is vendor-neutral. We coordinate with any contractor of the customer’s choice to ensure that all criteria are met for receiving the incentive. How the Program Helps YouThe Program performs detailed independent measurements and analysis to calculate the energy savings, cost savings and paybacks for a project. All reports and calculations are reviewed and approved by CPAU to ensure accuracy and incentive eligibility. Your customers can have confidence that projects run through the Program will achieve energy and cost savings. Finally, we offer a cash incentive to buy down a portion of the project cost and improve the payback period. Candidate ProjectsThe Program focuses on energy efficiency projects that will result in quantifiable natural gas or electric energy savings at qualifying facilities. The Program is for facilities larger than 30,000 square feet and/or have a maximum electric demand of 50 kW or more. Get Us Involved EarlyIf you would like to get the Program involved in your project, we recommend doing so early on in the process. The evaluation process takes time (usually 4 to 6 weeks depending on project complexity) and the Program has to complete this process and issue a Project Installation Agreement before any equipment can be ordered. Not all projects are eligible for incentives. The best way to make sure that a project is eligible is to contact us as early as possible.
