How It Works

1.Initial Contact

Discuss facility and potential energy efficiency opportunities with Enovity.

2. PROGRAM SIGN-UP

Customer signs and submits a Program Participation Agreement to indicate an interest in the Program and allow access to the facility.

3. Initial Site Assessment

A preliminary high-level assessment of the facility to identify potential efficiency opportunities. Includes estimates of energy savings and project cost-effectiveness.

4. Detailed Investigation

An analysis of selected potential energy efficiency opportunities, based on customer priorities, that includes in-depth measurements and calculations to determine projected costs, savings and incentive amounts. Enovity provides pricing for turn-key implementation services, or assists with the bid process if the customer selects an alternate contractor.

5. Review of Findings

With Detailed Investigation Report in hand, a customer can make an investment decision based on estimated energy savings, greenhouse gas reductions, project cost, and payback period and approve the project for installation. View A Sample Report

6. Reserved Incentives

A Project Installation Agreement is executed to reserve the estimated incentive funds.

7. Equipment Order

After incentive funds are reserved, the customer can order equipment and proceed with installation.

8. Installation

A customer-chosen contractor installs equipment and provides necessary training.

9. Savings Verification

After the equipment is fully operational, the Program conducts measurement and analysis to verify installed energy savings. A Measurement and Verification Report detailing the final project results is submitted to the customer.

10. Incentive Payment

Based on verified savings, the Program issues an incentive check to the customer or appointed payee.
