Get Cash Incentives For Your Energy Efficiency Upgrades
The Commercial Industrial Boiler Efficiency Program, a partnership with Pacific Gas and Electric Company, provides no-cost technical services and cash incentives to identify and implement energy efficiency improvements for boiler systems.
No-Cost Program Services:
Customized analysis and measurements to determine system efficiency- Detailed evaluation and recommendations for energy efficiency projects
- Implementation coordination assistance
- Report on reductions in energy, cost, and greenhouse gas emissions
- Independent verification of achieved energy savings after installation
- Cash incentives to help buy down the cost of energy efficiency upgrades
Eligible Energy Efficiency Upgrades Include
- Equipment and controls upgrades that result in quantifiable energy savings for the boiler
- Potential upgrades include:
- Feed water economizers
- Condensing economizers
- Direct contact water heaters
- Burner Control Upgrades
- Parallel positioning control
- Boiler O2 trim control
- Combustion fan VFDs
- Potential upgrades include:
- High efficiency boilers
- In conjunction with other measures
- Condensing boilers
- Pipe / Tank / Hx Insulation
- Pump VFDs
- Condensate Recovery Systems
- Others (Mechanical Vapor Recompression, SCRs, etc.)
