Facility Auditing
At Enovity, we utilize proven methods, evaluation tools, and energy savings strategies in developing energy audits. We offer a broad range of experience in facility energy management; HVAC, lighting, BAS and water systems; conservation strategies and technologies; site survey sampling, energy data analysis, reporting and computer analysis methods; and concise written reports.
At Enovity, our focus in performing audit services is to reduce client risk and enhancing project value when undertaking facility improvements. This is accomplished through our comprehensive approach to site investigation, data collection, analysis and reporting of energy-driven customer initiatives. Our field activities rely on empirical field data and our analysis of measure impacts takes advantage of advanced computer modeling to provide accurate reporting of measure savings. You can bank on it.
What is Facility Auditing?
Enovity provides one-day Initial Site Screening Studies or more rigorous Preliminary Audits for commercial, mixed-use and industrial facilities that are designed to quickly determine if there are opportunities for energy and water savings.
Enovity also offers more comprehensive Investment Grade Audits that typically involve detailed on-site equipment inventory and measurement of energy usage. Investment Grade Audits can often lead directly to project implementation. Our comprehensive approach begins with an on-site assessment and an exhaustive inventory and we rely on interviews of staff and management. We collect historical building energy utility data to be analyzed through computer modeling. We then initiate BAS trends and onsite monitoring of equipment operation. Operational deficiencies and energy trends are identified and remedies quickly developed. We explore all technologies and prioritize based on applicability, cost, constructability and likelihood of acceptance. Our audit reports are detailed, informative, well documented, interesting and thorough. Our recommendations are supported by conceptual design narratives as well as a detailed discussion on constructability challenges.
